About Me

Hey, I’m Cristian! I think being a Product Designer is a lot like being a curious explorer who also happens to be a magician at turning ideas into experiences people actually enjoy. My philosophy? Keep it creative, keep it human, and keep the process fun—so even Monday mornings feel a little exciting.

I grew up in a small town in Brazil, surrounded by art and imagination. As a kid, I was sketching anything I could get my hands on, dreaming of creating concept art for movies. Somewhere along the way, life took me through a detour—yes, I even trained as a Nursing Technician—but art and design always whispered louder.

I eventually found my way to UFRGS in Porto Alegre, studying Visual Design, and quickly discovered that bringing ideas to life in digital spaces was my true calling. One project that really lit the spark was designing the interface for an educational game, “Ferreiros e Alquimistas,” where players collected elements to create historical objects. That’s when UX Design grabbed me by the heart—and never let go.

Fast forward: I joined the Apple Developer Academy, where I learned to turn research, wireframes, and prototypes into apps—even if some didn’t quite make it to the App Store. From there, I dove into international projects at Poatek, leveling up my skills while learning to navigate design across cultures. A surreal bonus? Attending WWDC in 2022, wandering Apple HQ, and yes… snagging a selfie with Craig Federighi.

Now, in Bay Area, I get to do what I love: crafting thoughtful digital experiences, solving problems with strategy and empathy, and collaborating with teams who push ideas forward. More than the apps and interfaces themselves, what I love is seeing a team click, ideas bounce, and projects actually come to life.
